On July 30, 2020, committee and community members involved in the Mito Downtown Revitalization Project gathered for the tenth time. Since the project’s inception in February 2016, there have been ten projects and ten meetings. The committee plans to continue to take on new projects, with the hopes of lifting Ibaraki from the bottom of the nation-wide prefectural rankings.
